Music legend and “Poet Laureate of Russia” Boris Purushottama Grebenshikov gave a special one-night-only concert in New York, with Tabla virtuoso Pandit Samir Chatterjee, as a soulful tribute to Indian spiritual teacher and composer Sri Chinmoy, in honour of his 80^th birth anniversary.

Featuring an international ensemble of musicians the concert was held on Friday September 2^nd at 7:30 pm at Skirball for the Performing Arts, NYU, hosted by Songs of the Soul.
